The Multimodal Bonded Warehouse is a space located within the customs district of the Port of Altamira, with 4,500 m2 of indoor storage and 45,000 m2 of yard. It is used for handling, storage, warehousing, custody, loading and unloading of all types of foreign trade goods.

More than two decades of experience endorse the quality of its services and operational maneuvers: deconsolidation, consolidation, packaging, indoor and outdoor storage, change of transport mode from container to truck or vice versa, reception of empty containers, logistics between bonded warehouse operations, among others. As well as its physical, ocular, or express pre-checks and its co-packing logistics processes such as: packing, wrapping, labeling, marking, assembly, and transfer of goods with conveyor belts.

Multimodal is the most important terminal in the Port of Altamira for handling agricultural products and is authorized by SENASICA [Servicio Nacional de Sanidad, Inocuidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria] to operate as an International Plant Health Inspection Point (IPHIP) with 22 authorized curtains, making it one of the most important inspection points in the northeastern part of the country. They are also authorized as an Animal Health Verification and Inspection Point for Imports (AHVIP). As a result, SADER SENASICA personnel work permanently in their own offices within its facilities.
